Egg
freezing

Egg freezing is a time-sensitive process of retrieving eggs from the ovaries and freezing them for later use. This process has revolutionised family planning by providing women a chance to have a baby in the future.

Egg freezing gives women the complete control over their reproductive choices. It is also a form of fertility treatment that secures the potential of fertility for women who are looking forward to focus on their career or they are undergoing a medical treatment such as cancer.

Oocyte cryopreservation (Egg Freezing) is the first half of the IVF treatment. Under this process the woman will be given injections to stimulate the ovaries to produce more eggs and mature as compared to a natural cycle. After 10-12 days of stimulation, the eggs are retrieved and cooled to subzero for preservation. The Retrieval procedure takes 15-20 minutes.
